HOME SOCIAL PATRONAGE

Home social patronage is a service that is carried out by social workers and is aimed at people over 65 and disabled people who are experiencing difficulties living alone and / or with their relatives. Social workers involved in this service, provide services related to:

• food delivery;
• monitoring of the patient health and provision of health care (if necessary);
• care of home hygiene;
• maintenance of the house – small repairs and provision of materials for heating;
• delivery of clothes and shoes, under the current regulations for pension for the elderly who do not have their own means;
• organization of entertainments and other activities, encouragement of the elderly communication and social integration;
• buying food and other goods for people using the service;
• support in carrying out the administrative, financial and legal services;

The duration of training for home social patronage is about one year.
