PERSONAL ASSISTANT
Personal assistant helps the elderly, sick and disabled people, providing services at home. His duties include activities related to:
• to take care for hygiene in the home of the person served;
• assistance in the preparation of food, and with eating;
• assistance in movement and rehabilitation;
• initiation and requirements of specialized assistance in case of need/ emergency;
• care of the house - payment of the bills, implementation and / or help with minor repairs, provision of heating materials and others (all these activities are carried out with funds provided by the client);
• organization of the client’s leisure time, promoting communication and maintaining social contacts;
• being confidential except in the cases when the client’s health is at risk;
REQUIREMENTS ABOUT THE POSITION:
The applicants have to:
• be at a working age and not acquired pension rights;
• be a member of the family of the client they are about to take care;
• living in the same house as the person they are taking care of.
The duration of training for personal assistant is from few months to two years.
